The CAO (Central Applications Office) is a one stop shop handling applications for certificate, undergraduate diploma and bachelor degree programmes at higher education institutions in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). Our participating institutions offer over 730 programmes, and with just one application you can apply for up to six programmes. Do NOT fill in a separate form for each institution. You only have to pay one fee, and when you want an update on your application, there is one office to contact.
IMPORTANT Grade 12 learners write
the new National Senior
Certificate (NSC) in 2008.

the new NSC as well as
the old Senior Certificate.
