The CAO (Central Applications Office) is a one stop shop handling applications for certificate, undergraduate diploma and bachelor degree programmes at higher education institutions in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and for study programmes at UNISA from diplomas to doctorates. Our participating institutions offer over 850 programmes, and with just one application you can apply for up to six programmes. Do NOT fill in a separate form for each institution. You only have to pay one fee, and when you want an update on your application, there is one office to contact.
IMPORTANT Entry requirements for all programmes are given for the new NSC first written by school leavers in 2008 as well as the old Senior Certificate. Read how to use the programme list carefully to be sure how this applies to you.
